Bucharest – Cernavoda – Topalu - Ghindaresti - Harsova

Your guide will take you to see major attractions of Drobuja such as:

The Anghel Saligny Bridge (formerly King Carol I Bridge) is a railroad truss bridge in Romania, across the Danube River, connecting the cities of Cernavoda and Fetesti. The bridge was built between 1890 and 1895 over the Danube and Borcea branch of the Danube, and when it was completed it became the longest bridge in Europe and the third longest in the world.

Capidava was an important Geto - Dacian center on the right bank of the Danube. After the Roman conquest, it became a civil and military center, as part of the province of Moesia Inferior (later Scythia Minor), modern Dobruja.

Topalu, located on the right bank of the Danube, is a good place for a short break and a must see. In Topalu you can visit the Museum of Art “Sevasta si Vintila Dinu,” which includes over 200 works of art creations of great Romanian artists: Ioan Andreescu, Octav Bancila, Nicolae Grigorescu, Stefan Luchian, Petrascu Gheorghe, Nicolae Tonitza, Alexander Ciucurencu, Demetrius Paciurea, Cornel Medrea, Theodor Aman, Nicolae Tonitza, Corneliu Baba, Nicholas Dărăscu and many others.

Ghindărești is a commune near Topalu. 97.5% of inhabitants  are Russians and Lipovans and 2.4 Romanians. Here we will have a traditional fish lunch.

The city of Hârşova, located in the north-western part of Constanta is a millenary city; this year, we are satisfied to be celebrating 1900 years of documentary attestation on the Danube coast and the European Road No. 60.
